| . | . | In your prayers, please remember the soul of Mark J. Blair. Mr. Blair is a member of the McQuaid Jesuit Class of 1971. Obituary, wake and funeral information is as follows: Blair, Mark J., Mark J. Blair 53, of Maine, NY, is at peace after a courageous battle with a brain tumor. He passed away at home on Sunday, December 17, 2006, surrounded by his friends and family. He was predeceased by his father, John Blair; his mother-in-law, Mary Dellisante Anastasi; and his niece, Danielle. Mark is survived by his wife and partner in life, Patricia Anastasi Blair; his mother, Joan Blair, of Rochester, NY; 2 brothers, Jerome Blair of Charlottesville, VA.. and John L. & Karen Blair of South Dennis, MA.; 3 sisters and brothers-in-law, Maryanne & Scott Stickel, Rosemary & James Darcy and Elaine & Patrick Caufield, all of Rochester, NY; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Joseph & Leatrice Anastasi, of Niargara Falls, NY; 2 brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Joseph & Linda Anastasi of Columbus, OH and Richard & Carole Anastasi of Kirkland, WA; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He is also survived by his Uncle Phil Dellisante who supported his dreams; his biggest supporter and friend, Alva Johnson; and James Sherrick and the Berger's Ski Shop crew, who all helped make his dream a reality; and his favorite dog, Barley. Mark and Patricia were co-owners of Berger's Ski and Snowboard Shop in Binghamton, NY and in Corning, NY from 1981-2006. He was a member of the Most Holy Rosary Church. Mark was an avid skier, snowboarder, golfer, tennis player and gardener. His passion for life and his vision for the furture were especially evident in his affect on countless young people; he inspired them to accomplish their very best dreams. The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Khalid Sethi, who kept his promise. A Memorial Mass wil be offered at 12:00 Noon on Thursday, December 21, 2006, at Most Holy Rosary Church, 36 Main St., Maine, N.Y. Family will receive friends at the Church on Thursday morning from 10:30AM until the time of the Mass at 12:00 noon. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Corning, NY at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Most Holy Rosary Church or to a charity of one's choice. Arrangements by Bednarsky Funeral Home, Inc.
