Fred Scavone, '58,
who died on December
30, 2004.
Passed away in Las Vegas, after a courageous
fight with cancer. He is survived by his loving wife, Carol Ann; sons, Dr.
Frederick J. Scavone & Lisa Panning of FL, David E. Scavone;
daughter, Agnes Carol & son-in-law, Kenneth S. Jarner of Las Vegas; sister,
Barbara A. & James W. Flora Sr.; his mother-in-law, Katherine Bayne; his
in-laws, Kathy (Greg) Barkley, Suzzie (Marty) Murray, Eugene & David
Mortellaro; aunts & uncles, nieces & nephews; great-nieces &
nephews; many dear cousins; his very special Gin buddies; and a host of
wonderful friends. Fred was a retired teacher of the Rochester City School
District. He was past president of the Charlotte Kiwanis Chapter. He was member
of the Theta Chi Fraternity.
Friends may call Thomas, Tuesday 7-9 PM, Wednesday 2-4
& 7-9. Funeral Mass, Holy Cross Church, Thursday, 11 AM. Entombment, Holy
