In your prayers, please remember the soul of David C. Gillis. Mr. Gillis is a 1974 McQuaid Jesuit alumnus and brother of Robert, ’63. Obituary, wake and funeral information is as follows:

David C. Gillis David C. Gillis, 50, of 2817 Auburn St, Erie, Pa, died Friday, June 9, 2006 at Hamot Medical Center from a stroke. He was the son of John and Helen Gillis from Rochester, N.Y. He was born on January 12, 1956. David is survived by his wife Jean Coward, and three children, Timothy, Laura and John, and Sox the cat. He had four siblings, Robert and his wife Jane from New Haven, Conn., James and his Wife Carol of Rochester, N.Y., Anne Hedge and her husband David from Oxford, Conn. and Kathleen Marlin and her husband Rick from Rochester, N.Y. He was a 1974 graduate of McQuaid Jesuit High School in Rochester and a 1979 graduate of LeMoyne College in Syracuse, N.Y. Friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Wednesday, June 14, 2006 at 11 a.m. at the Francis V. Kloecker Funeral Home, Inc. 2502 Sassafras St. There will then be a Funeral Mass at St. Anne's Church in Rochester on July 15, 2006 at 10 a.m. for his family and friends in the Rochester area. Burial will be in Rochester. Memorials in David's name may be made to the American Cancer Society.
