At 18, he placed 2 nd in the Comet (Sailing Class) World Championship as crew for his brother Bud. Dick was a member of the first graduation class of McQuaid Jesuit High School in 1958. He was a dedicated Board and Committee Member at the school throughout his life. He helped found Fairport Dollars for Scholars, an organization that recently named a scholarship in his honor. He was also active in various other community organizations. After graduation from John Carroll University, University of Pennsylvania, and University of Rochester Dental Center, Dick became a nationally recognized Orthodontist with practices in Fairport and Canandaigua. He was dedicated to promoting excellence in the field of Dentistry and cherished his staff and patients. In his final months, his goal was to recover so that he could return to the work and the patients he so loved. Thank you to all who have sent your warm wishes.
